General description
- 1つは、ガス供給システムに設置する再使用可能なチューブホルダーです。ポリカーボネートを使用しているため、安全性と透視性が得られます。
- もう1つは、指標樹脂を含む精製管(1 ppm程度の水分または酸素に触れると黒色から茶色に変色する)です。ガラスを使用しているので透視性があり、室内の汚染物質がガス流に拡散するのを防ぐことができます。
使用済み精製管は簡単に交換できます。末端アセンブリーのねじを回してチューブホルダーから外し、新しい精製管と交換するだけです。この設計によって、設置作業中に室内の空気が新しいチューブに入るのを防ぐことができます(保護用の箔が両端部を覆っており、末端アセンブリーをチューブホルダーにねじ込んで設置が完了した場合にのみ箔に穴が開きます)。

Application
- The OMI Purifier Tube is used to purify carrier gases such as helium, hydrogen, nitrogen, argon, and methane. It removes contaminants like oxygen, water vapor, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulfur compounds, halogen compounds, alcohols, and phenols to less than 10 ppb.
- It is recommended to install the OMI Purifier Tube just upstream of every GC system. This ensures that the carrier gas entering the GC is free from contaminants, which is crucial for accurate and reliable analytical results.

We want this cartridge to remove oxygen from nitrous oxide gas (N2O). Is this purifier tube compatible with N2O, and will it not also try to remove it?

This product is not suitable for the application of removing oxygen from nitrous oxide gas. The reactive polymeric sorbent in this purifier tube irreversibly reacts with nearly all oxygenated species, including nitrous oxide.

The rapid color change will indicate potential problems in the purification system. If the change is relatively rapid, the bulk purifier is spent, the carrier gas is contaminated, or there is a leak in the system somewhere upstream.
2. The OMI® Purifier Tube can be connected to 1/8" tubing. For 1/4" tubing, use 1/4" to 1/8" Swagelock® reducer (brass - Cat. No 2-1516, or stainless steel - Cat. No 2-1517).
