How to register at the homepage

  1. If a country other than KR is displayed when you put your mouse over the account in the upper right corner after accessing the homepage, you must first change the country setting. Click on the globe icon to select ‘Asia & Australia’ and select ‘Korea, South’. Place a checkmark in the box on the left and click ‘Continue’, then KR will be displayed at the top.

  2. Click “Sign Up” at the top and start creating a login ID.

  3. When the ‘Create Your Profile’ page appears, enter the required information, such as your name and email address. Your email address will be used as your login ID in the future. If the e-mail has already been registered, it will not proceed any further, so in this case, you should enter a new e-mail address.

  4. When the login ID is created, the Quick Order page appears. You cannot order products with just the login ID, you need to create a customer account through the customer registration application form to proceed with the transaction. For more information, please refer to the [New Customer Account Registration Guide] page.

 

1. If you login to the homepage, you can check your profile. You can edit your name and phone number by selecting ‘Profile’, selecting ‘Personal Info', and clicking ‘Edit’ on ‘Contact Information’. But you cannot change your email address as it is unique information entered when creating your login ID. You can change your password to fit your password requirements by clicking ‘Edit’ next to your password. (After making changes, be sure to click the ‘Save’ button to save them.) 
However, please note that this is not a change in the information of the account registered in the actual system, but simply the information management of the owner of the login ID.

  

 

2. Address information: Products cannot be delivered to the shipping location specified in the information. Please note that delivery will be made to the address which you filled in customer registration application form. If you need to change the registered information, please submit [Customer Information Change Request Form] by online.

 

3. Site Preferences

You can change the settings for Quick Purchase, Website Language, and Default SDS Language.

 

4. Email Preferences - If you agree with the marketing information, you can receive various contents and promotions provided by Merck.

 

5. Payment Methods - If you enter a reference number and save, you will see that the number is included as default without entering the PO number in the shopping cart each time you proceed with the order.

 

  • Please log in to check inventory, delivery date and price. If you are not logged in, inaccurate information may be displayed. In addition, you must log in with the login ID linked to your Sigma-Aldrich ordering account to check more accurate information.
  • If product is in stock, the day of inquiry will be indicated as shipping availability. You can check the available stock quantity for same-day delivery by clicking FROM, entering ‘inquiry quantity’ and clicking ‘Check Availability’.

 

  • If there is no stock, the future date is indicated as the estimated stocking date as shown below. However, this date is not a definite date when the product is in stock and may change depending on the circumstances of the overseas headquarters.

          

 

  • If indicated as below, it is a discontinued product and can no longer be supplied. In the case of an alternative product, you can search for the product's [CAS Number] or [substance name] and select an alternative product after comparing specs. If you need advice on selecting a replacement product, please contact our Technical Support team.

           

Sigma-Aldrich's product quotation takes place in two steps:

 

Step 1:

Search products at search engine

Input product number at Order Center

 

Add to cart

 

Step 2:

Check the products for ordering and enter PO number

 

 

Wait! All order process needs login. Current status can be checked from the upper right side of the page.

 

[Step 1-1 Search products (If you don’t know SKU)]

1.   Enter the product number, CAS number, gene name, etc. in the search box at the top of the page and start the search.

 

2.  Select the product you are looking for, enter the desired order quantity, and click Add To Cart button.

 

3. The product you selected has now been added to your shopping cart. Continue searching for other products and add them to your shopping cart, or if you do not have any more products, you can proceed to Step 2.

 

[Step 1-2 Enter at the Quick Order (If you know SKU)]

1.  Click the Quick Order icon on the home page or the Quick Order at the top right.

 

2. After entering the product number, select the product capacity and quantity, and click the Add To Cart button. (If you know the capacity, you can enter the order more quickly by entering the product number and capacity together.)

 

Step 2 Convert from shopping cart to quote

1.   Click Cart on the top right to go to the shopping cart. And check your shopping cart then click Checkout.

 

2. If you need to select the Shipping Address, Billing Address or a tax invoice, select the correct Receipient to be issued in the selection window and click Proceed to Checkout. In the case of recipient selection, we request that you select the name of the person who purchases it. If not, you can select 'None'.

 

3.  Please enter the ‘PO number’ and check that the information of name/contact/e-mail is entered correctly before proceeding. (PO number is an order number managed by the customer, and both letters and numbers can be entered.)

4. After confirming the amount, click Request Quote to automatically generate a quotation number.

 

5. When the quote is completed, you can check the 10-digit quote number as follows. If you click the Close button or click Back after not checking this window, the order may not be processed normally, then please contact customer service.

6. If you click View PDF, you can print and download the quotation. You can also view the Quotes in your Account.

Step 1-1 Search products (If you don’t know SKU)

1.   Enter the product number, CAS number, gene name, etc. in the search box at the top of the page and start the search.

 

2.  Select the product you are looking for, enter the desired order quantity, and click Add To Cart button.

3.  The product you selected has now been added to your shopping cart. Continue searching for other products and add them to your shopping cart, or if you do not have any more products, you can proceed to Step 2.

 

Step 1-2 Enter at the Quick Order (If you know SKU)

1.   Click the Quick Order icon on the home page or the Quick Order at the top right.

 

2. After entering the product number, select the product capacity and quantity, and click the Add To Cart button. (If you know the capacity, you can enter the order more quickly by entering the product number and capacity together.)

 

Step 2 Input details at the Shopping Cart

1.   Click Cart on the top right to go to the shopping cart. And check your shopping cart then click Checkout.

 

2.  If you need to select the Shipping Address, Billing Address or a tax invoice, select the correct Recipient in the selection window and click Proceed to Checkout. In the case of recipient selection, please select the name of the person who purchases it. If not, you can select 'None'.

 

3.  PO number field is the content set by the customer. This column can be used for a variety of purposes depending on the nature of the order, and can be useful when searching for an order directly in the future. PO number must be entered, and if it is left blank, the order will not be processed, so even if there is no information to be used, please enter the order date or name of the orderer to proceed with the order. (Please refer to the example below.)

4.  If the contact information field is blank, the order cannot be processed. Please enter  name, contact information, and e-mail information and click Update to confirm that the information is properly filled out before proceeding. This information is recorded only in our systems and does not affect product delivery. If you record this information in Your Profile, you do not have to enter it every time. Please click here for details.

 

5.  If there is a product to be deleted from the shopping cart, click the trash can button and click Refresh to delete it.

 

6  You can enter the promo codes, check the amount and click Checkout to complete the order and generate an order number. [How to use promo codes]

 

7.  When the order is completed, you can check the 10-digit PO number as follows. If you click the ‘Close’ button or click ‘Back’ after not checking this window, the order may not be processed normally, so please contact customer service.

 

8.  고You can also search your order history in ‘Orders’ in ‘Account’.

1. Click the ‘Orders’ in ‘Account’ and click ‘Credit Card Payment’.

 

2. You can click ‘From’ / ‘To’ to set the time period to perform the search. If you need to select a recipient item by clicking on the tax invoice issuer, you can select it on this screen. Click in front of the transaction statement number to be paid, select a credit card (only Shinhan Card is available for pre-payment) and click ‘Submit’. (If you do not see the link, please check your login status again.)

3. When you click ‘Submit’, you will be taken to the payment screen, where you can enter your card number to proceed with the payment.

 

Option 1: Check directly on the main page (Useful if you know the SKU and lot number.)

 

1.  Click Certificates (COA/COO) in the SUPPORT submenu at the top left.

 

2. You can check the COA by clicking the Lookup button after entering the Product Number and lot number at the Advanced Search page. Please do not put the packing size in the product number field. <Example> In the case of T1503-25G, only T1503 should be entered excluding the capacity.

 

 

Option 2: Check on the product information page

 

1.  Search product on the main page of the homepage.

2.  Click the SKU of the product on the search result page to go to the detailed product information page.

 

3.  Click the COA at the left of the product information page to move to the bottom of the page. You can check the COA by entering the lot number.

1.   This website is optimized for the Chrome browser, so it is recommended to use the Chrome browser. If a site error occurs, please clear the caches and cookies of the Chrome browser.

 

2.  How to delete caches and cookies of the Chrome browser

1)     After launching Chrome on your computer, click ‘More’ in the upper right corner.

2)     Click More tools > Clear browsing data. 

3)     Select a time period at the top. Select ‘All time’ to delete all items.

4)     ‘Check the boxes next to 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files'.

5)     Click ‘Clear data’.

 

  • If you are experiencing an error in which the price and availability are not displayed as before after searching for a product, you can solve the problem by performing <Delete Temporary Files and Cookies> on your browser.

  • This website is optimized for the Chrome browser, so it is recommended to use the Chrome browser. When using Internet Explorer, please note that the function may not work properly because there is a difference depending on the version.

  • If you are using a Google Chrome browser, press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL, select and delete cookies and history, and then restart your browser.

To order shRNA online, please follow the steps below.

1.  Login to the website.

If you log in, you can check quotations and prices. If you need to register as a customer, please click ‘Sign Up’.

 

2. Search your gene.

Search by gene name, number, TRC number, etc. (e.g., one of DYRK1A, 1234, TRCN0000029918)


3.  After clicking the Genes tab, click the shRNA link under the gene details to go to the page where you can configure shRNA. Depending on your needs, you can search for the desired Clone by using the species and TRC version options. (TIP. Validated shRNA can be checked for knockdown efficiency, tested cell line, etc.) 

 

4.  Select the specific clones and go to next step.

 

 

5. Select Physical Material

6.  Check the price and add to your shopping cart.

7.  LMO Declaration process

According to domestic import regulations, for Bacterial glycerol stock (SHCLNG) products, LMO declaration is required, and a total of two documents must be prepared. (In case of an error, right-click and proceed after “Save Target As”)
