General description

Angiotensin II (Ang II) is part of the renin-angiotensin cascade. It is an octapeptide. Ang II is present in high concentration in cardiac tissue.


ProteoMass Angiotensin II MALDI-MS Standard has been used:
  • as peptide calibration standard for MALDI-MS instruments
  • as a reference standard in Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis for characterizing RNase and NC1 domain of collagen IV
  • as a standard in testing infrared (IR) laser desorption/ionization (IR-LDI) method
