Nalgene® Sample Preparation and Storage

Nalgene® Flasks

Nalgene® flasks are typically made of polypropylene, polycarbonate, or other chemically resistant materials and come in various shapes and sizes to accommodate different experimental needs. Our range includes Nalgene® polycarbonate Erlenmeyer flasks, ideal for effortless liquid mixing and swirling, Nalgene® filtering flasks and Nalgene® baffled shake offering an excellent alternative to glass flasks.

Nalgene® Bottles

Nalgene® bottles are made from rigid and robust materials including, polyethylene terephthalate copolyester glycol-modified (PETG), Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE), polypropylene copolymer (PP copolymer), Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP), and Polycarbonate (PC). These bottles are designed for the storage of buffers, cultures, and culture media catering to various laboratory needs. Our offerings include Nalgene® Media bottles, Nalgene® centrifuge bottles, Nalgene® wash bottles, Nalgene® dropper bottles, and Nalgene® diagnostic bottles.

Nalgene® Beakers

We offer Nalgene® Griffin beakers, Nalgene® beakers with handles, and Nalgene® PFA beakers. The Nalgene® griffin beakers are made of translucent polypropylene or polymethylpentene, providing transparency of glass, excellent chemical resistance, and heat tolerance. All sizes of these beakers feature easy-to-read, silk-screened graduations.

Nalgene® Carboy

Nalgene® high-density polyethylene carboys are autoclavable and designed for handling large batches of culture media, vaccine product production, bulk media, and chemical storage. These carboys feature a large opening for easy filling and dispensing and are made of natural polypropylene. Available in round, square, and low forms, they can make the most of any available bench space.

Nalgene® Jars

These jars are made of polymethylpentene or polypropylene material and are translucent with excellent chemical resistance. They are used for storing pastes, specimens, solids, and lab supplies. With a broad range of capacities ranging from 30 mL to 1000 mL, they offer maximum flexibility.

Nalgene® Cryogenic Vials

These cryogenic vials are sterile, colorless polypropylene vials used for ultra-low temperature storage. Featuring both internal and external threads, they come with a conical bottom or as self-standing options and are available in natural and amber versions.

Nalgene® Dewars

Nalgene® Dewars offers an economical solution for short-term storage of ice water, dry ice/solvent baths, and liquid nitrogen.

Nalgene® Graduated Cylinders

These cylinders are made of polypropylene or polymethyl pentene and are used for measuring the solutions.

Nalgene® Vacuum Filtration System

The Nalgene® vacuum filtration system is sterile and uses a polyethersulfone membrane. The membrane exhibits low protein binding, minimizing the risk of protein loss from the media. This filtration system is used for filtration of serum, cell culture medium, buffers, and additives.

Nalgene® Membrane Forceps

The Forceps are made of stainless steel with a cross-action design that holds the membrane without applying pressure that may cause damage.
