Aldrich antisplash splash-guard adapter with return hole may be used between the vapor tube and rotary evaporator flask to prevent solvent from being drawn into the condenser in case of "bumping". A drain hole at the base of the inner tube allows solvent to drain back into the evaporation flask.
General description
These traps greatly reduce carry-over from foaming or bumping. Anything that may climb can return back down through the return hole at the bottom of this adapter.
