Descripción general

Pararosaniline is a cationic triarylmethane dye and one of the components of basic fuchsin.[1] It gives a brilliant red color after dyeing polyacrylonitrile fibers.[2]

Aplicación

Pararosaniline hydrochloride has been used:

• to prepare Schiff reagent[3]
• to stain cow endometrial cytology samples[4]
• to counterstain Prussian blue sections of mice brains[5]
