General description

La IgG humana purificada se aísla de suero combinado humano sano por fraccionamiento y cromatografía de intercambio iónico. El producto se suministra como un polvo liofilizado esencialmente exento de sal (menos del 1 % de sodio).

Application

La IgG del suero humano se utilizó como patrón a una concentración de 1274 mg/ml en ELISA para determinar las respuestas de anticuerpos a Porphyromonas gingivalis y a Prevotella intermedia.[1] Se utilizó para el inmunomarcaje de las células Vero, BHK y PtK2 a una concentración de 0,2 mg/ml.[2] La IgG del suero humano se utilizó como patrón en la SDS-PAGE de anticuerpos contra el LPS de Shigella.[3]

Biochem/physiol Actions

El subtipo de anticuerpo IgG es el más abundante de las inmunoglobulinas séricas del sistema inmunitario. Las IgG son secretadas por las células B y se encuentran en la sangre y los líquidos extracelulares; proporcionan protección frente a infecciones causadas por bacterias, hongos y virus. Las IgG maternas son transferidas al feto a través de la placenta, que es vital para la defensa inmunitaria del neonato frente a las infecciones.[4]

    1. The molecular weight of this product is not determined on a lot to lot basis. According to published literature, the molecular weight of Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is approximately 150 - 160 KDa. Historical data available for this product indicates that in SDS-PAGE electrophoresis this material will have multiple bands ranging from 155 kDa - 220 kDa.
