ZooMAb antibodies represent an entirely new generation of recombinant monoclonal antibodies.
Each ZooMAb antibody is manufactured using our proprietary recombinant expression system, purified to homogeneity, and precisely dispensed to produce robust and highly reproducible lot-to-lot consistency. Only top-performing clones are released for use by researchers. Each antibody is validated for high specificity and affinity across multiple applications, including its most commonly used application. ZooMAb antibodies are reliably available and ready to ship when you need them.Learn more about ZooMAb here.
Clone 16B14 is a ZooMAb rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically detects Allograft inflammatory factor 1 (AIF1). It targets an epitope within 21 amino acids from the C-terminal region.
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to 21 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human Allograft inflammatory factor 1 (AIF1).
Anti-Iba1/AIF1, clone 16B14 ZooMAb, Cat. No. ZRB1177, is a highly specific recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody that detects Iba1/AIF1 and has been tested for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin), and Western Blotting.
Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected Iba1/AIF1 in mouse and human brain tissue lysate.
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected Iba1/AIF1 in human bone marrow & human cerebral cortex tissue sections.
Immunofluorescence Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected Iba1/AIF1 in human cerebral cortex tissue sections.
Note: Actual optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user as specimens and experimental conditions may vary.
Descripción de destino
Allograft inflammatory factor 1 (UniProt: P55008; also known as AIF1, Ionized calcium-binding adapter molecule 1, Protein G1) is encoded by the AIF1 (also known as G1, IBA1) gene (Gene ID: 199) in human. AIF1/IBA1 is a highly conserved cytoplasmic, calcium binding, inflammation responsive scaffold protein that is detected in T-lymphocytes and peripheral blood mononuclear cells. It has also been shown to associate with the actin cytoskeleton at membrane ruffles and at sites of phagocytosis. It is not present in normal arteries, but its expression is induced in vascular smooth muscle cells in response to arterial injury where it enhances growth and promote proliferation in vascular smooth muscle cells through deregulation of the cell cycle by shortening the cell cycle and altering the expression of cyclins. AIF1 is also found in activated macrophages where its expression is augmented by cytokines, particularly interferon gamma. It is also considered as a marker for activated macrophages. Serum AIF-1 levels have been correlated with albuminuria and eGFR in type 2 diabetic subjects and serves as a marker for diabetic nephropathy. Three isoforms of AIF1/IBA1 have been described that are produced by alternative splicing. This clone will react with isoforms 1 and 2 that contain this immunogen sequence. This ZooMAb recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals. Almacenamiento y estabilidad
Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
