General description

Ethyl viologen diperchlorate (EV (ClO₄)₂) in PEO matrix may be a good option for making viologen based eletrochromic device for testing purposes as it contains EV2⁺, that is a good electron acceptor and perchlorate ion which serves as electrolyte. It is used for fabricating electrochromic devices.[1]
