Cat.No. 100063 Acetic acid 100 % for analysis
Cat.No. 116754 Water for analysis
Cat.No. 109137 Sodium hydroxide solution 1 mol/l
Cat.No. 106268 Sodium acetate for analysis
Clarocarbon G
Ammonium vanadate for analysis
Reagent 1:
Dissolve 1.7 g silver nitrate in 20 ml water for analysis, add 30 ml acetic acid and make up to mark with water for analysis in a 100-ml volumetric flask.
Reagent 2:
Clarocarbon G
Reagent 3:
Dissolve 1.0 g ammonium vanadate in 15 ml sodium hydroxide solution 1 mol/l. Add 5.4 g sodium acetate and make up to mark with water for analysis in a 100-mL volumetric flask.
Measurement range:
0.20 - 3.50 mg/L tartaric acid at cell length of 10 mm and 445/446 nM
Analysis:
Mix 3.0 ml sample with 10 mL reagent 1. Add 0.5 g reagent 2 and shake. Add 10 ml reagent 3 and mix and filter off the carbon using a folded filter. Measure the clear particle-free filtrate against water at 445 nm (in the photometer SQ 118 at 446 nM).
