Phytochemicals are naturally occurring compounds in plants. Plants are a useful source of both dietary supplements and herbal medicinal products. To demonstrate the safety and assure the quality of plant derived products, an accurate identification and quantification of the components is crucial and demands the use of reliable reference materials. We offer a wide selection of various phytochemical standards, from analytical standards to primary reference standards.
Our range of neat reference materials includes over 2000 isolated plant ingredients, which can be main constituents, common markers or toxic constituents of widely used medicinal plants. The portfolio includes alkaloids, isoprenoids, flavonoids, phenylpropanes, tannins, and glucosinolates. Some products are TraceCERT® certified reference materials (CRM), manufactured under ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 accreditation and have a traceable value by quantitative NMR (qNMR). The 3rd party products from PhytoLab and HWI Analytik are also provided in neat form.
PhytoLab is a world-renowned manufacturer of extensively documented herbal reference standards. As a partner of PhytoLab we provide more than 1400 of their reference standards. Phytolab products include detailed product documentation to confirm product identity and assigned purity. The products have their exact weight printed on the label of the inner vial, enabling their direct dissolution and preventing material loss.
In collaboration with HWI Pharma Services GmbH, we provide primary and secondary reference standards for use in quality control, in-process control, and stability testing of herbal medicinal products. As the exclusive distributor, we offer standards produced and qualified by HWI Pharma Services GmbH. Each standard is provided with an analytical report containing chromatographic purity, and the content assigned by qNMR.
Aimed at convenience and cost effectiveness, we offer multicomponent certified reference material (CRM) solutions of widely used medicinal plants such as ginseng, ginkgo, ginger, kava, and green tea. These CRM solutions contain constituents of the corresponding plant. They are manufactured under ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 double accreditation.
We offer a series of plant extracts reference materials, designed to serve as references for the analysis and study of medicinal plants. This range includes products from HWI pharma services and NIST. For the HWI products, the identity of the characteristic components of each extract is confirmed and their chromatogram peaks are assigned by comparison with analytical standards. In addition to one or several key components, quantitative values are also given.
