Changes to Merck Life Science and Sigma-Aldrich Legal Entities: Impacts on Web Shop and Ordering

• On July 1, 2021, the commercial business of Merck Life Science in the Poland has been restructured.
• This business previously operated by two legal entities, Merck Sp. z o.o., and Sigma-Aldrich Sp. z o.o.
• The commercial business was consolidated into Sigma-Aldrich Sp. z o.o., which at the same time was renamed to Merck Life Science Sp. z o.o.

You will benefit from this development since Merck will serve the customers of its Life Science business in Poland via one legal entity, as opposed to two entities, neither of which could provide customers with access to the entire Merck Life Science portfolio.

For a smooth transition, the ordering and sending of goods was limited during the transitional period, the first day for sending the order to Merck Life Science Kft. was July 5, 2021.

ECOMMERCE UPDATES

Coinciding with the business consolidation, changes occurred to our websites and online ordering routes.

Following the legal entity consolidation, all Merck Life Science eCommerce is conducted through www.sigmaaldrich.com. The www.merckmillipore.com website is still available as an informational site providing access to product information, safety and quality documents, including Emprove^® dossiers, until everything is fully accessible directly through sigmaaldrich.com

The sigmaaldrich.com website displays real-time, customer-specific pricing for all products, including products previously ordered via merckmillipore.com.

As part of the transition, web credentials (login and/or password) may have changed for some users:

If you already placed orders via sigmaaldrich.com, you can continue to use your sigmaaldrich.com login details and password without change.

If you only placed orders via merckmillipore.com, you will able to use the same login details (usually your email address) on sigmaaldrich.com but you will need to update your password as we cannot migrate the encrypted password from one site to the other.

ELECTRONICS AND HEALTHCARE BUSINESS

Please note, that Merck Sp. z o.o. will continue to serve customers for Electronics (former Performance Materials) and Healthcare business in Poland as usual, despite the consolidation of the Life Science Business of Merck Sp. z o.o. and Sigma-Aldrich Sp. z o.o. into Merck Life Science Sp. z.o.o.
