General description

We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Find details here.

Palladium black (99.95% trace metal basis) can be used as a catalyst with a high surface area of ~47 m2g−1 in a variety of sustainable applications. It can be used as an anode catalyst that shows good performance and can be used in polymer exchange membrane (PEM) based fuel cells. It can also be used as an alternative catalyst to carbon-supported palladium for the hydrogenolysis reactions.

A novel Pd/Cu catalyzed domino reaction for the synthesis of functionalized pyrrolo[1,2-b]pyridazines from readily accessible (hetero)aryl propargyl alcohols and 1-amino-2-bromopyrroles was developed. This cascade process involves a Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction, an isomerization and an intramolecular condensation.
