Description

General description

Histodenz is an iodinated medium for non ionic gradation. Histodenz shows a maximum absorption spectrum at 244 nm, hence it is not suitable for spectrophotometric analyses in ultraviolet range.

Application

Histodenz has been used in LacZ (β-galactosidase) staining. It has also been used for the enrichment of gonocytes.
