General description

Method: photometric 5 - 160 mg/l Ca 7 - 224 mg/l CaO 12 - 400 mg/l CaCO₃ Spectroquant^®

This Spectroquant^® Calcium Reagent Test allows the accurate quantification of the calcium content in aqueous samples.

Method applied: In alcoholic-alkaline solution calcium ions react with modified glyoxal-bis(2-hydroxyanil) to form a red-violet complex which is determined photometrically.

The Spectroquant^® Reagent Test Kits contain highly stable, ready-to-use reagent mixtures to perform the analysis according to the procedure described in the accompanying instruction leaflet.
