The fatty acid content of A3059 is not tested in quality control, and it is not reported on our Certificate of Analysis. We would not refer to this product as "fatty acid free".

However, A3059 is considered to be essentially gamma-globulin free, which makes this more potentially useful in blotting experiments, by reducing a potential source of background. The Technical Bulletin states that "Globulin free albumins are suitable for use in applications where no other proteins should be present".
