Biochem/physiol Actions

Subunit of pertussis toxin responsible for binding to cell surfaces; stimulates both platelet aggregation and cytosolic Ca2+ level elevation, may also activate phospholipase C; isolated from B pertussis strain 165.

Caution

Do not freeze. Do not subject to sterile filtration, as this will result in loss of material.

Reconstitution

Each vial contains 40 μg of protein which may be reconstituted with either sterile distilled water or sterile buffer.
