Specificity

Enables the detection, measurement and characterization of protein tyrosine kinase (PTK) activity during purification (column fractions, etc.) of natural and recombinant PTKs, in cell and tissue extracts and immunoprecipitates. This kit is based on an ELISA assay format using the universal PTK substrate poly-Glu-Tyr (PGT). Detection is achieved with a phosphotyrosine specific monoclonal antibody (clone PT-66) conjugated to peroxidase (HRP). EGF Receptor (EGFR) is also included as a positive tyrosine kinase control.
