    Guard columns for Titan 1.9 μm C18 UHPLC columns with 2.1 mm ID are product 577127-U.  This product is a pack of three guard cartridges with dimensions 2.1 X 5 mm.   These cartridges require the use of the guard column holder, product 577133-U.

    Titan 1.9 μm columns are designed to be used only on UPLC or UHPLC systems.

    Titan 1.9μm columns can be used on any UPLC or UHPLC System.

  9. What is the best practice for long-term storage of Titan C18 1.9 μm columns?

    Long-term storage of silica-based, reversed-phase columns is best in 100% acetonitrile. Columns may be safely stored for short periods (up to 3 or 4 days) in most common mobile phases. However, when using buffers, it is best to protect both the column and the HPLC equipment and remove any salts by flushing the column with the same mobile phase without the buffer (e.g., when using 60:40 ACN:buffer, flush the column with 60:40 ACN:H2O) to eliminate any danger of corrosion from the salts while providing rapid reequilibration of the column with the original mobile phase. Before storing the column, the end-fittings should be tightly sealed with the end-plugs that are provided with the column to prevent the packing from drying.

  10. What solvents are compatible with Titan C18 1.9 μm columns?

    Water and all common organic solvents are compatible with Titan C18 1.9 μm columns.
