Application
- 2,2,2-Trichloroethyl chloroformate was used as derivatizing reagent in gas chromatographic/mass spectrometric determination of a large range of amphetamine-related drugs and ephedrines in plasma, urine and hair samples[2].
- It was used as starting reagent during the synthesis of 6-Nor-9,10-dihydrolysergic acid methyl ester[3].
- It was used as reagent during N-demethylation of dextromethorphan[4].
- It was used as protecting reagent for aliphatic and aromatic hydroxyl and amino groups[5].

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
