The solubility of this product has not been tested. PEITC is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, dimethyl sulfoxide, and dimethyl formamide. The solubility of PEITC in these solvents is approximately 30 mg/ml. To create a 0.5 mM concentration solution, dissolve the appropriate amount of PEITC in ethanol or another suitable organic solvent to prepare the initial stock solution, which can then be diluted to achieve the desired concentrations.
