Application

3-Methyl-1-butene has been used in asymmetric total synthesis of (−)-Linderol A, a potent inhibitor of melanin biosynthesis of cultured B-16 melanoma cells[1].

General description

Gas-phase reaction of the OH radical with 3-methyl-1-butene in the presence of NO has been investigated[2]. Polymerization of 3-methyl-1-butene in the presence of homogeneous metallocene catalyst (co-catalyst methylalumoxane) has been investigated[3].

Other Notes

Brass hose adapter Z146811 or brass body mini gas regulator Z513539 is recommended.

The first asymmetric total synthesis of (-)-Linderol A, a potent inhibitor of melanin biosynthesis of cultured B-16 melanoma cells, has been achieved via two key reactions: a diastereoselective [2+2] photocycloaddition of a coumarin-3-carboxylate bearing a chiral auxiliary with 3-methyl-1-butene and
