General description

Erbium(III) acetate hydrate is a high-purity, moderately water soluble, erbium precursor widely used in thin film deposition, nanomaterial synthesis, and optical coating applications. With excellent thermal stability and controlled decomposition to Er₂O₃, it is ideal for solution processing, CVD, and ALD techniques.

Application

Erbium(III) acetate hydrate can be used
  • To enhance ZnO conductivity via erbium ion doping, increasing carrier mobility, and improving energy storage device performance.
  • In LiErF₄ nanoparticle synthesis for nano thermometry and data security, offering ultrahigh thermal sensitivity and up conversion efficiency through a refined co-precipitation method.
  • To develop erbium-based luminescent materials for optical communication, enabling efficient signal amplification and high-speed data transfer in fiber laser systems.
