Application

Ru based complexes may be used in the synthesis of anticancer drugs.[1] Ru complexes in conjunction with magnesium may be used in the atom transfer radical addition (ATRA) and cyclization (ATRC) reactions. [2]
Ru may be used as a catalyst in the following reactions;
  • oxidative coupling of indoles and pyrroles with several alkenes[3]
  • arylations reactions.[4]
