Description

General description

Condensation of isopropyl ethers of p-hydroxyphenyl acetic acid and 3,5-dihydroxybenzaldehyde has been reported.[1]

Application

3,5-Dihydroxybenzaldehyde is suitable for use in the synthesis of 3,5-dihydroxyphenylglycine (3,5-DHPG).[2] It may be used in the synthesis of:
