According to Dow Corning®, 3-GLYCIDOXYPROPYLTRIMETHOXYSILANE can be used as a coupling agent for many thermoset resins with glass or mineral fillers. Specifically, it has been used as a reinforcement treatment on glass fiber to improve physical properties (especially wet strength) or as an adhesion promoter to improve the bonding of a polymer coating or adhesive to glass, metals or other polymeric surfaces.
