General description

2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7-Dodecafluoroheptyl acrylate (DFHA) is a fluorous functional monomer that is majorly used in the surface functionalization. It can also be utilized in chemical vapor deposition process for the synthesis of nanomaterials.

Application

DFHA can be used in the preparation of hybrid fluorous monolithic columns for nano-liquid chromatography. It can be used in the surface modification of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) for the formation of highly conductive composites.

  1. IF I STORED IT IN ROOM TEMPERATURE, I COULDN'T USE IT ANYMORE?

    1. The recommended long-term storage temperature for this product is 2-8°C. The material is stable at ambient temperatures for relatively short periods. The product is shipped at ambient temperature and is allowed 1-2 weeks transit time before any degradation is suspected. If stored at ambient temperature for more than 1-2 weeks the integrity of the product may be impacted.
