Application

(S)-(+)-1,2,3,4-Tetrahydro-1-naphthylamine is a chiral amine that can be used:
  • To prepare a 2-pyridylmethylene-(S)-(+)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1-naphthylamine containing pentanuclear trigonal bipyramidal [Co3Fe2] complex, which exhibits electron-transfer-coupled spin transition (ETCST) properties.[1]
  • To prepare imine-substituted thiophene Schiff base compounds.[2]
  • To derivatize macrocyclic diarylheptanoid compounds of biological importance.[3]
