Amano Lipase PS can be used as a catalyst in the enzymatic esterification reactions. It is also used in the resolution of racemic mixtures such as (R)- and (S)-1-trimethylsilyl-1-alkyn-3-ols by enantioselective acetylation reactions.

    1. Both lipase products are derived from Burkholderia cepacia. The minimum activity of this immobilized product 708011 is 500 units per gram, while the minimum activity of the 534641 product option is 23,000 units per gram.
