1-Allyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide is an ionic liquid that can be prepared by reacting 1-allyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride and lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide under microwave conditions.[1]
Application
1-Allyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide can be used to prepare AMIMTFSI-propylene carbonate based electrolyte, with potential application in lithium-ion batteries.[1] It also finds application in alkanes/alkenes separation process.[2] AMIMTFSI can be used as a surface protector to develop luminescent silicon nanoparticles.[3]
