Application

Deuterated vitamin D3(6,19,19-d3) solution is also known as cholecalciferol (6, 19, 19-d3). It can be used as a stable isotope internal standard for the quantification of vitamin D in biological samples by a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).[1][2]
This product may be used as an analytical standard.

Questions

  1. I have been using vitamin D powder in ethanol to treat my cells. How long can I store this solution in -20?

    1 answer
    1. This product is supplied as a 100ug/ml solution in ethanol. The recommended storage temperature is -20°C. The item is not assigned an expiration date, but a warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applied. Solutions of Vitamin D3 prepared from the powder form are vulnerable to degradation by exposure to light and air. For additional details regarding the stability of this material in ethanol, please review the sample Certificate of Analysis below, page 9.
