Biochem/physiol Actions

Azure II is used with methylene blue and basic fuchsin for the staining of semithin sections. This complex is used for the staining of nuclei, goblet cells, striated muscle, endothelial cells, smooth muscle, cytoplasm, lipid droplets, red blood cells, glycogen, collagen, cartilage, mucus granules, elastin and leukocytes.
