  1. How many different settings are there for the rotating/mixing feature? Can it do full rotations? Rotate and then stop and shake for a bit? Many thanks.

    1. This product has three different settings - Mix, Pause, and Rock. The 'Mix' mode is a 360° full rotation. This item features a variable speed range of 5 to 70rpm.

      "Mix" function: Rotating in combination w/ oscillations (increased mixing)
      "Pause" function: Rotating with intermittent "stops" during rotation
      "Rock" function: Back and forth, gentle rocking motion (see-saw)

      This plus models additionally offer optional platforms for rocking (4.5 x 3 in.), as well as 96 x 0.2ml tube/strip/plate holders for mixing PCR vessels in the "Mix" (oscillating) mode.
