Cap with glued-in white-rubber liner resists effects of temperature and steam. (Screw thread size for the 15 mL tube is 15-415, and for the 5 mL tube is 24-410)

Formed from borosilicate glass. Stress that glass can withstand is greatly decreased by surface flaws such as scratches, chips, and cracks. Always use with correct sleeve or holder.
