General description

Leakproof, seamless, polished, and contains a permanent Alnico V magnet. Egg-shape bar is designed especially for use in round-bottom vessels.

  1. Good afternoon. I need to purchase a magnetic stirring bar to mix a solution volume of 8L. Witch one would you recommed? Thank you for your time and hepl!

    1. Unfortunately, the stir bars available are not rated for volume. An 8 liter flask would require a larger size stir bar which may or may not be suitable, based on the viscosity or 'thickness' of the solution. See the links below to review several large size magnetic stir bars. It would be up to the end user to determine suitability.
