This product is made of nickel with a corrosion resistance up to 600°C. Nickel has a melting point of 1455°C, a coefficient of linear expansion of 13.4 X 10-6/°K, and a specific heat of 0.106 cal/°K. Nickel is completely resistant to phosphoric acid and highly resistant to the corrosive effects of the strongest alkalis. The length of time the material will withstand these temperatures has not been established.
