The manufacturer of this product recommends using warm water to clean the sieves. For a more thorough cleaning, Simple Green can be used. It is not recommended to use air. A brass brush can also be used to clean the sieves.

General description
- Full 2 in. height and 8 in. diameter test sieves
- Meet ASTM specification E-11
- SS wire cloth measurement traceable to NIST
- Each sieve includes a certificate of compliance to all applicable ASTM, ISO, and ANSI specifications
These metal framed testing sieves are manufactured with a lead/tin solder on the underside which joins the wire cloth to the sieve skirt. The top seam is secured with a UV cured adhesive.

Can someone let me know if there is a guide or instructions on how to clean the sieves. When I was an analyst I used to clean them with a brush and air between samples and when testing completed clean with water and place in the oven at 105C for an hour.
