The nitrogen tank should be connected using an accessory with a shut-off valve. The nitrogen inlet of the MAV valve features a ball valve sealed against the white gasket by a spring, preventing inward flow. When the accessory is attached and enough nitrogen is released to create positive pressure, the ball valve allows nitrogen into the cylinder, initiating the dispensing of liquid with sufficient pressure. After dispensing is complete, all valves should be closed. Some positive pressure should remain while the MAV is engaged, causing the ball valve to compress against the gasket, stopping any in/out flow of the liquid. It is not recommended to keep the MAV engaged for an extended period.

Could material flow back into the nitrogen line from the cylinder, and if so, how? Additionally, is it possible for anything that was pushed into the nitrogen line to flow back into the cylinder?
