Egg PE is a natural phosphatidylethanolamine (PE).


Egg PE has been used as an antigen to determine the outcome of ELISA for antiphosphatidylethanolmine (aPE). It has also been used in protein-lipid overlay (PLO) assay to evaluate the binding of SEIPIN to phosphatidic acid (PA).
