3-Hydroxyphenazepam is an active metabolite of the novel psychoactive benzodiazepine phenazepam, which emerged in online drug markets in late 2011. Despite being a controlled substance in Europe, North America, and many countries in Asia, phenazepam has been encountered in the form of LSD mimic blotters and as counterfeit diazepam.
