Description

General description

Nortriptyline is a second generation tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) marketed under trade names such as Sensoval, Aventyl^®, and Pamelor^® for treatment of major depression. Nortriptyline is also an active metabolite of the TCA amitriptyline. This certified Snap-N-Spike^® Solution is suitable as an internal standard for quantitation of nortriptyline by LC/MS or GC/MS in clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, urine drug testing, isotope dilution methods, or medication monitoring applications.
