Questions

1–2 of 2 Questions
  1. Are these beads suitable for grinding plant material in a genogrinder for iron quantitation analyses? Also, will they be stable in a strong acidic environment?

    1 answer
    1. This product is composed of soda lime glass, which is more fragile and subject to chipping and cracking. Typically, for tissue grinding purposes, beads made of borosilicate, zirconium, or ceramic are most common and robust. Currently, there are a number of product options available.
