Application

Spectromelt^® A 10, also known as di-lithium tetraborate (Li₂B₄O₇), is a high-purity flux used primarily in X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis. Spectromelt^® A 10 can be utilized in:

• X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) Analysis: Used as a flux to prepare samples for XRF analysis. It helps in creating a homogeneous glass bead from the sample, which is essential for accurate and reproducible XRF measurements.
• Sample Preparation: Employed in the fusion of samples, particularly for geological, environmental, and industrial materials to ensure that the sample is evenly distributed and free from matrix effects, which can interfere with the analysis.
