General description

Formed by the hydrolysis of ATP in tissue by adenosine triphosphatase. Rapidly converted back to ATP via oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria. εmax = 15.4 X 103 ± 2% M-1 cm-1 (259 nm, in H2O, pH 7.0)

Preparation Note

Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 6 months at -20°C.
