Anti-CD40L, mouse monoclonal, clone 24-32, recognizes the ~36 kDa CD40L (gp39) on activated CD3+ human PBL. It is validated for FC, WB, IP, IHC on frozen sections, and for neutralization studies.
Note: 1 T = 1 test.
Protein A affinity purified mouse monoclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~39-40 kDa CD40L protein.

Warning
Toxicity: Standard Handling (A)
Physical form
In 150 mM NaCl, 100 mM KCl, 50 mM sodium phosphate, pH 7.5.
Reconstitution
Following initial use, aliquot and freeze (-20°C) for long-term storage. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Other Notes
This antibody immunoprecipitates the ~39 kDa CD40L (gp39). It will stain activated CD3+ human PBL and will functionally block MLR, spg39 induced B-cell proliferation and T-cell dependent B-cell differentiation. FACS was performed on 5x105 ficoll-prepared PHA/PMA stimulated human peripheral white blood cells using anti-CD40L at 10 µg/ml and FITC-conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG. This antibody has also been reported to work for frozen sections and immunoprecipitation. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
