- as a blocking agent in immunofluorescence assay[3]
- as a component of wash buffer in flow cytometric analysis[4]
- as a component of anti-clumping buffer in ClpXP Dumbbell assay, motility assay and wet preparation to remove unbound beads and unbound substrate-DNA-biotin[5]
