General description

Natural high-viscosity mucopolysaccharide with alternating β1,3-glucuronidic and β1,4-glucosaminidic bonds. Principal glycosaminoglycan in connective tissue fluids. The molecular weight of Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Salt, is in the range of 5.0 x 105 - 1.2 x 106, as calculated from its limiting viscosity.
