General description
GST fusion protein of c-jun (1-79) activation domain, expressed in E. coli. Highly specific substrate form c-jun N-terminal kinase/stress activated protein kinase (JNK/SAPK). Not phosphorylated by MAP kinase or p38. Suitable for qualitative and quantitative assays of JNK activity.
Recombinant c-Jun (1-79) activation domain fused to GST and expressed in E. coli. Highly specific substrate for c-Jun N-terminal kinase/stress activated protein kinase (JNK/SAPK). Is not phosphorylated by p42 MAP kinase or p38. Suitable for qualitative and quantitative assays of JNK activity. Shown to undergo phosphorylation by JNK in the presence of 32P-ATP.
