General description

A cell-permeable, Au(I)-phosphine complex that acts as selective inhibitor of lymphoid tyrosine phosphatase (LYP) (IC50= 1.5 µM) and has a ~10-fold selectivity for LYP over PTP-PEST, HePTP, and CD45 in both JTAg cells and primary mouse thymocytes.
