Application
- To synthesize acyclic and cyclic dithioacetals via thioacetalization of aldehydes.[1]
- To prepare α-aminonitrile derivatives via a one-pot, three-component coupling reaction of aldehydes, amines, and trimethylsilyl cyanide.[2]
- In the hydrodefluorination of fluoroarenes in the presence of lithium triethylborohydride.[3]
